Contrary to what reports from last year suggested, English Championship football club Hull City AFC won’t be getting acquired by cryptocurrency crowd funding platform SportyCo. According to sources familiar with the matter, SportyCo’s managing director, Marko Filej, met with the club’s owners and agreed on a price. However, after that price was disclosed to investors supporting SportyCo’s bid, the deal fizzled out to nothing.
